Terrible at math but very creative, and looking for new opportunities!
I’m a 100% Montrealer, with a dash of Canadian and a sprinkle of Chinese. I freelance with local startups, non-profits and entrepreneurs on a spectrum of creative projects, wearing different hats to transform their needs into a concept.
I have a BFA from Concordia University, specializing in graphic design, and dabbling in industrial design, visual arts, photography, and print making. My creative interests lies in many areas as I see ‘something’ in everything, but my soft spots are handmade and handwritten goods, old-school signage, Beaux-arts architecture and effortless-looking brand identities.
Why did I choose my field? Because I couldn't become an accountant. Just kidding! Frankly, I was 'designing' before I realized it was a profession; mainly, I was intrigued by the notion of a simple arrangement of words and images can create a profound impact on someone, and secondly, design is like a scavenger hunt for ideas; there is a thrill in finding one and being able to share it.
When not designing: getting lost on a hike in a foreign country.
Sometime in the future: being a design entrepreneur selling my own goods.
